My dad is diagnosed with Lung Cancer that has spread to the spinal fluid, impacting his central nervous system. As a result, he needs some monitoring walking, using the bathroom, showering, dressing. He still does everything himself right now but i would like to establish relationship with a home health aids he is used to, because I anticipate his needs to increase quickly as the disease advances (with separate skilled nursing and hospice staff to be covered under medicare)

Personality wise he is easy going, tries to do everything himself, can communicate in English. The cancer spread to his brain so it impacts his executive functioning skills, short term memory issues, and some light confusion. On the upside it made him more outgoing, talkative and generally in good spirits.

As his needs increases, we will change to full time live-in care and at a higher rate. Someone open to that later would be a plus. You will have your own room, but in a house with me, my husband, and two kids.
