My mother lives in Yonkers, New York and her husband recently passed away who was her primary caretaker. She is almost 2 years post stroke and is still in recovery from that. She is mobile but walking with a walker and needs assistance with bathing, cooking as well as helping her stay on top of her PT exercises. We are in the process of trying to get long-term home care through Medicaid, but need short-term care for the time being.
