My mom has multiple sclerosis and needs help getting around the house, transportation to local doctors (occasionally). We mostly need someone there with her in case she falls or something happens where she needs help. She can still walk (limited mobility), use the restroom herself, and bathe as well. She can also still cook, but would require assistance from time to time.
