Shirly is a very capable 87 year old, has lived by and driven herself until a stroke recently, that left her with some speaking difficulties, mainly getting her thoughts to match her words. She will be coming to stay with us soon within the next week or so from rehab in Missouri. my husband and I both work during the day, and worry about her being alone all day. my husband is generally home by 5 PM each day, and my days off rotate, so it may only be a couple of days through the week that someone would be needed to help her with minimal needs and possibly with minor tasks. She may need to be transported to doctor visits, or just to get out some, she is a very active senior, normally. she loves to visit and talk!
