We need hands-on care for 05/24 to take care of my grandfather in Richardson. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements if needed. Please have experience assisting with feeding. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
It is my niece's graduation, and we would all like to assist but can't do so unless we have help for my grandfather. He has Parkinson's which has caused him to become weak and fragile. My grandfather no longer walks and barely speaks. We really just need someone to be there in case he needs something like going to the restroom, wants a snack, or wants to be moved to a different position in bed. Taking him to the restroom would require someone with strength to lift him from the bed to the wheelchair.
