We are a lively household-3 young children & a sweet pomeranian. My grandmother recently moved here after leaving her lifelong home in Indiana. She has mobility issues, back pain from previous falls, is blind in 1 eye, & recently- mild memory issues here & there. She uses a walker, does best with a caregiver who can confidently guide her day, go through PT exercises. Prefer a non-smoker because of smoke sensitivity.

She needs someone who leads her care rather than waits for direction. Help her out of bed, toileting, sponge bath daily, getting dressed, prepare breakfast & lunch, engage in conversation, suggest activities, encourage her to call loved ones, go on walks, music, pick out TV shows, memory exercises. Light household chores: tidy her room, clean bathroom, help keep kitchen clean, do her laundry. My husband & I work from home & can be somewhat flexible with timing. We hope to find 2 consistent caregivers she can truly bond with & who can become a posititve part of her world.
