Sponsored listing on behalf of Family Concierge. Seeking a dependable companion for an 84 y/o female, recovering from a recent hip fracture. She is living at home with husband as her primary caregiver, but husband needs daily weekday support, approximately 2-hours a day, M-F, so he can run errands, etc.
May require occasional weekends. Looking for 6-10 hours a week total. Expected to need for 3 months initially as her femur heals.

She is mentally sharp, generally independent, and receives ongoing nurse visits as well as scheduled PT and OT. Due to mobility limitations, she is currently unsteady on her feet and benefits from light assistance and supervision.

Responsibilities:
-Light housekeeping
-Simple meal/food preparation
-Occasional assistance with dressing
-Providing companionship and conversation
-Offering general support and supervision for safety
-Following the client’s instructions for daily tasks

Requirements:
-Strong English communication skills
(The client has some hearing difficulty and needs someone who communicates clearly.)
-Friendly, patient, and attentive to safety
-Experience with mobility‑limited clients is a plus
-Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required

Ideal Candidate
Someone warm, reliable, and comfortable assisting an older adult recovering from a fracture. This role is perfect for a caregiver who enjoys companionship‑based care and lighter‑duty support.

Pay range
$20-30/hr dependent on experience
