I am required to return to work 4 days per week (although I am in negotiation for 3 days.) I need drop-in care for my 90-year-old mother. She tends to occasionally have safety issues like going outside when no one is home, leaving the refrigerator door open, leaving the sink water running, and leaving the stove on. She strives to be independent, but needs assistance with making the bed, vacuuming or mopping her living area, cleaning the bathroom. I can do those things, but I cannot be present during the days I work downtown to check on her needs.
Not sure about options available or cost, just looking and collecting resources for now.
