Family is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide companion care to their 74 yo father. The Caregiver will support the elder through conversations, walks outdoors, and monitor any changes that may occur. Additional duties will be added later on based on the father's care needs. The caregiver must me friendly and engaging and have experience working with Elders. It would be ideal if the caregiver has had experience with elders with Parkinson's disease.

Care is needed starting on May 16th, working from 11am - 2pm, afterwards hours will vary (To be discussed during interview). Care is needed at the father's home twice a week for a few hours. Hours will be between 9am - 3pm and will only be for 1-2 hours at a time. This will change as care needs change.

The pay rate for this position is $25-$40 an hour based on experience. The ideal caregiver will be First Aid Certified, able to monitor ambulation and overall status of elder, and have extensive experience with Elder Care. Caregiver must also be comfortable around cats as family does have a large shorthaired domestic male cat. If you meet the above requirements the family would love to hear from you!
