Mother’s Helper / Family Assistant – Part-Time (Mornings)

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Mother’s Helper / Family Assistant to support our household. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a calm, clean, and organized home environment and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities include:

Housekeeping & Daily Upkeep:

Light dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming (professional cleaners come once per week)
Kitchen upkeep, including loading/unloading the dishwasher and occasional handwashing/drying
Surface cleaning, polishing, and general tidying
Making beds
Taking out garbage and recycling

Laundry & Organization:

Washing, folding, and ironing clothes
Restocking personal care and household essentials
Organizing closets, pantry, and living spaces
Picking up toys and general household clutter

Household Support:

Grocery shopping and running errands
Light meal prep

Schedule:

Morning hours, approximately 15–20 hours per week

Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working in private homes in a similar role
Is organized, detail-oriented, and takes initiative
Is comfortable working independently and keeping a consistent routine
Is comfortable with errands and basic meal preparation
Has reliable transportation

Additional Requirements:

Able to provide 2–3 recent references from similar roles
Willing to complete a background check
