House Manager Role / Family Assistant

I’m a mom to a sweet 24-month-old boy and currently expecting baby boy #2 in April 2026. We’re located in Downtown San Diego and are currently looking for help on:
? Tuesdays & Wednesdays
⏰ 7:30am–10:30am PST (shifts 2-5 hours)
With opportunity for longer hours and occasional weekends as needed.
⚠️ Please note: This is not solely a childcare position. While there is some toddler interaction, this role is truly a mommy helper / house manager-style position focused on supporting the household through organization, light cleaning, meal prep, and keeping things running smoothly.
What I’m looking for help with:
• Light laundry (wash + fold)
• Simple breakfast prep for me and my toddler (smoothie, eggs sandwich, etc.)
• Wash, cut, and store fruit/
• Tidy up toys, clothes, and general clutter around the house
• Light kitchen clean-up (unload dishwasher, wash dishes, wipe counters)
• Organization projects (cleaning out drawers, organizing pantries, keeping spaces functional and tidy)
• Get to know the household routines and help restock/refill essentials (soups, laundry detergent, household items, etc.)
• Light meal prep for the household (easy lunches/dinners, basic batch prep as needed)
• Steam/prepare work clothes as needed
• Play, read, and engage with my toddler while I shower or get ready (if needed).
? We already have a weekly cleaner every Tuesday, so no deep cleaning is needed — just help keeping things tidy and organized.
Ideal fit:
Someone proactive, organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable taking initiative to support a busy household. Experience with toddlers and infants is a plus, but strong household management and meal prep skills are key.
