My mom (75) has early onset alzheimer's/dementia and is having orthopedic surgery this week. She lives with her husband (75) in a 2-story townhome. Look for to hire some help while she rehabilitates to help with house cleaning, laundry and dishes. Townhome is 3 bdrm, 3 bath 1300 sq feet. it may take them a few visits to get used to having external help in the house as they are not accustomed to it.
