We are seeking a regular part-time nanny to care for our 7-month old son in our home located in the Los Feliz area for 20 hours weekly. Ideally the nanny will work 1:00-6:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Additional hours may be requested on weekends for date nights and/or on an as-needed basis during the week.
Taking care of baby is the top priority for this position.
• Bottle feeding every 2-4 hours
• Changing diapers when soiled
• Cleaning and bathing when needed
• Managing naps to ensure a min of 2 hours of daytime sleep
• Engaging him with music, books, conversation and nurturing
• Going for walks regularly
Baby's sleep and eating should be logged in the Huckleberry app. Other duties include light baby laundry, bottle cleaning, tidying nursery, and preparing and offering solid food.
Requirements:
- Pass a background check
- Have reliable transportation to and from the home.
- At least 1 year of experience in baby care
- Be mature, warm and engaging, have a calm temperament, be expressive and lively as needed
- High school graduate
- CPR certification a plus
