We are working professionals living in Petworth, D.C., looking for full time (40h/week) care for our just-turned 3 year old starting at the end of May.
We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic, fun-loving, and caring person who is helpful, punctual, proactive, has attention to detail, and clearly follows instruction. Both parents work from home most days. Duties include: keeping to schedule; devising educational activities, engaging in active playtime and outdoor activities, music class, changing clothes, preparing meals and eating with child, cleaning up after meals, tidying toys and the play area, folding child's clean laundry and helping with dishes. Proficient English; ability to use a payroll service; 2-3 professional references; and up-to-date vaccinations (inc covid) are required.
Both parents work from home most days, but the child is used to this set up.
