I have a special needs autistic son. He is Mostly nonverbal and needs his diaper to be changed. The school is getting him used to sitting on the potty for 30 seconds at specific times of the day. His needs need to be anticipated, like hunger and food because he has trouble communicating those needs.
During the school year, I would need someone who would be at my apartment with me and help me with my son, feeding, changing, light housework, I will have a cleaning person come every other week so just cleaning the mess my son makes or helping him prevent the mess in the first place. He has trouble holding on to things, and needs additional Occupational therapy so that’s why he ends up making a mess.
I would like someone that has the energy to be able to take him to the park at my apartment complex or guide him as he rides his bike (with training wheels). I need to ice my back because of an injury so it’s been difficult to ice and do all this with him.
