Reliable Weekday Nanny Needed, 8am–2pm, Special Needs Experience Preferred

- 1 child (Preschool)
- $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
I’m a working parent seeking a reliable, calm, and confident caregiver to support my young daughter during school-day hours. She has special needs, and this role is focused on consistency, regulation, and safety.
The ideal candidate is steady, upbeat, and comfortable supporting a child who may struggle with transitions, communication, or emotional regulation. Patience, emotional maturity, and the ability to redirect calmly without escalation are essential. Prior experience with special needs children is strongly preferred through caregiving, school, behavioral health, or similar settings.
This is a caregiver support role, not a therapy or clinical position. My daughter has established routines and care plans, and your role is to help maintain those routines, provide consistent supervision, and support her day-to-day activities, including play, outdoor time, and scheduled outings or appointments.
I work from home some days and am out of the home on others, so you must be comfortable working independently without constant supervision. Child-related tasks only are expected, including warming simple meals and cleaning up after activities. Reliable transportation and comfort transporting my child in your own vehicle are required. The home has security cameras in common areas.
This is a W-2 position with consistent hours. Reliability and strong communication, especially during the first 90 days, are very important.
Requirements
- Special needs experience
- Sitter has own car
Responsibilities
- Prepare Snacks/Meals
- Toilet training
