We are looking for a kind, patient and reliable nanny/mother’s helper to help our family this summer. While mom is busy tending to the newborn and recovering during the 4th trimester, we hope to receive help in areas that mom can’t tend to. We have a fun, sweet and energetic boy and a newborn. Our toddler loves being outside, playing, and staying busy, so we’re hoping to find someone who enjoys engaging with toddlers and keeping them active. In addition to childcare for the toddler, we may occasionally ask for help with our infant as well while mom is spending time with our toddler or tending to personal matters. Household tasks (tidying up, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming, light meal prep, laundry, help keeping play areas organized, etc.) would also be expected.

We also really value early childhood education, so we would love someone who is intentional about incorporating learning into play whether that’s reading together, creative activities, or supporting developmental milestones in a fun, age-appropriate way. Furthermore, we want to maintain a sense of routine with our child so he continues to be independent and self sufficient.

The position would be 5days per week during the hours of 8-4 at a rate of $23 per hour. A reliable car is preferred but not required.
