Seeking a nanny two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays) to support a family with a new born baby boy. The ideal candidate is also a child development educator with a lot of experience with infants. someone with a graduate school education degree (or currently a graduate student) who is trained in Waldorf, RIE, or montessori experience. Someone who leads with consciousness, patience, attuned communication, and emotional intelligence. Must be infant CPR certified.
Must have extensive professional nannying experience - and at least a year with a baby. Looking to commit to a minimum of two months with the family. Self or professionally trained in waldorf, RIE, montessori experience, gentle parenting rearing*** Must be comfortable with contact napping and attachment theory, as mother is a licensed clinical psychologist and values this principle in child attunement. Must have a reliable vehicle or access to public transit to arrive to work on time.
Must be ok with refraining from using social media and cell phone during time with newborn baby. And most importantly the candidate must have very grounded energy. You will be supporting the owner of a private practice in clinical psychology that works from home. She is very grounded, positive, and down to earth and looking for someone who is experienced, educated, extremely trustworthy, self-sufficient, very organized, and deeply professional. Must be ready to begin the position mid May.
