We have a single baby about a year old, living in our small condo with 2 cats. Our baby does have Sturge-Weber Syndrome and is at risk for seizures.
Take care of the baby, feed and play with her and change her diaper, read to her and go on walks. Ideally encourage her to develop strength in areas of her body that are weak from past seizures (i.e. get her to use her arm to grab a toy, encourage her to crawl). Please be willing to watch some videos of seizures to learn how to recognize them - if a seizure occurs, we would ask you to time it, video if possible, call us, and possibly administer emergency medication and call an ambulance.
We have 2 cats - no care for them is required but playing is welcome if you like cats.
