Hi! I have a 9-year-old son (sweet, well-behaved, entertaining, & gifted), who I will need a nanny to help take care of for a few days during the week. I expect to begin a new remote position in the next month or so and will need someone fun and energetic who enjoys the outdoors to take care of him, let him play outside, go to playgrounds, take him out for ice cream, etc. He loves outdoor adventures! I'll be in my home office out of your way. He's very independent and won't require your attention for the full day, although he is quite social. He likes to play video games as well, so if you're in school and have your own work to do, you'll definitely have some time to yourself! He is homeschooled and thus home all day. It would be optimal if you could spend a couple of hours per day guiding him through some of his worksheets. He loves learning, so you won't be pulling teeth. You don't need to be versed as a teacher/tutor; just read them with him as he hates doing it alone. As I mentioned, he's gifted and doesn't require much. We do have a cat (very affectionate), which you will not need to care for. You'll need reliable transportation. I'll request some light housekeeping, such as putting dishes away, vacuuming, swiffering, loading laundry (not putting it away), etc., and need you to make him simple meals such as Easy Mac, popcorn chicken, etc. He's very fun-loving, so bring your fun side as well! :) We're both extremely easy-going. He tends to sleep in, so the hours would likely be sometime around 11 AM to 5 or 6 PM, TBD. My point being not super early! He has friends on the block with whom he plays with once they get out of school, so you may be able to leave earlier some days. The times may fluctuate slightly from day to day.
