Full-time Nanny needed in NoDa Area for a 4-month-old boy. The nanny would typically be work Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be friendly, nurturing, loving, dependable, comfortable in weaning the child to solids and experienced in caring for newborns. It is important for the family to find a nanny who will be attentive to their child's needs and will assist in creating a daily schedule for the baby.
During the day, the nanny should read to the child and engage the child in developmental activities such as tummy time, playing with toys, going on strolls, and playing outside when the weather allows. The nanny should create an environment that will foster growth and encourage the child to meet their developmental milestones. As the child grows the nanny should take him on outings such as going to the Park, the Library, Story Time, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community.
The family has a Wheaton Terrier, so the nanny must not be allergic to and be comfortable with dogs. The nanny is asked to take the dog out when she takes the baby outside.

Job starts June 10, and pay is negotiable a $25-30 an hour, with Continued pay, Paid major holidays, Paid time off, and Paid mileage. The nanny should have prior nannying experience, a college degree or equal experience, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and be able to pass a full reference and background check.
