We are looking for a warm, dependable, patient and energetic babysitter to provider after-school care for our 7.5 year old boy in Merrick, NY.
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, is creative, engaging, and can provide a positive, fun, and structured environment.

Responsibilities

- Bus Pickup: Receive him off the bus
- Transportation: Drive him to after-school activities or appointments approximately 1–2 times per week.
- Homework Support: Assist with homework, encourage focus, and make learning a positive experience.
- Engaging Activities: Participate in interactive play, games, outdoor activities, reading, and creative projects.
- Positive Guidance: Encourage independence, good communication, and age-appropriate responsibilities.
- After-School Routine: Help maintain a consistent and relaxed afternoon routine.

Ideal Candidate

- Kind, patient, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys interacting with children.
- Energetic, playful, and willing to actively engage rather than simply supervise.
- Dependable, punctual, and an excellent communicator.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
- Has a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
- Comfortable helping with homework
