We need a weekday babysitter/father's helper for our daughter, who is 3 years old, in Manhattan. Start date is 4/28. Hours requested are: Mon-Fri, 5:30-8:30 PM and Sat/Sun, 12-8 PM. Hours can be flexible, but last pickup at daycare is 6 PM, so you'd need to be able to do that. The daycare is 3 streets from our home.

Duties include daycare pickup, minor activity planning (maybe 1.5 hours per day), dinner prep, bathing, cleaning up, and bedtime prep.

For context, my wife has terminal brain cancer and is expected to pass in a few months. I would like to be able to get her input while she is still lucid.

This could be a very long term position given that I will need help as long as we're in NYC. Applicants in college, grad school, or with day jobs OK, though we would ideally have a single person cover all weekday evening shifts. We are open to splitting the week across multiple people. $25/hr and up, depending on qualifications.
