Hi there. My partner and I (both women) have a 3 month old daughter, Mikah (pronounced mee-kuh). She is very cute and fun already! We are both on family leave and will be returning to work in June/July. I am an architect and will be returning to the office 2-3 days per week from 8am-7pm. My partner works in publishing and has a flexible schedule, but will need help for 4 hours per day, 3 days per week to start. We live in a small but clean 2 bedroom with a separate play area.
My partner (Mikah’s birth-mother) will be working from home and needs a few hours each day to take care of emails. More than anything else, we need someone to play and make sure Mikah does not feel neglected while we are working. My partner is almost exclusively breastfeeding but you may need to prepare a bottle if she is too busy with work. Diaper changes and light cleanup would be expected. We are very welcoming but not looking to micromanage. We will give you your space to work!
Location:
Very close to the A/1 train at Dyckman Street. Wonderful cafes, parks, playgrounds, and library nearby.

Schedule:
Help needed on Mondays (not holidays), ideally 2pm-6pm. 2-3 additional days during the week for 4 hrs each day would be flexible.

If a good fit, we would love to hire someone long-term, or at least until Mikah is a good age for daycare or Pre-K!

And again, the work from home situation makes our schedule VERY flexible, we just need some friendly help at home.
