A nurturing and welcoming family in University Heights, OH is seeking a knowledgeable, calm, and compassionate nanny to care for their soon-to-be 4-year-old son.

In their ideal scenario, the family is looking for a calm, compassionate, composed, dependable, and proactive nanny. The ideal candidate should be nurturing, adaptable, and an excellent communicator. Their son, being naturally cautious, needs time to establish trust. He's got an insatiable curiosity, especially when it comes to how things in nature work! He's always after detailed answers and loves to fire off a flurry of questions, so being quick on the response is key! The right nanny will thoughtfully introduce new activities and instinctively know when to establish boundaries. Essential qualities for this role include kindness, authentic and active engagement, and a natural ability to connect with a child’s perceptive, imaginative spirit and intelligently bright nature. In this role, you will be responsible for taking the child to age-appropriate activities, and all child-related tasks, including planning engaging and educational activities, child transportation to activities around town, the child’s meal preparation, the child’s laundry & dishes (if time allows), maintaining the tidiness of the child’s common areas, including play area, living room, & kitchen as necessary and assistance with light housekeeping.

Child: Soon-to-be 4-years-old
Hourly rate & annual salary: $25-$35hr/$32k-$45k+year
Benefits:
 5 days of paid vacation, 3 paid sick days, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement
Schedule:
 25 hours per week. The general schedule will fall on Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Flexibility to stay 30 minutes late on occasion will be appreciated.
