We’re looking for a reliable, flexible nanny to care for our 5-year-old son beginning soon.

Our family’s schedule varies from week to week due to my rotating work schedule. Some weeks I work early mornings and am home in the early afternoon, while other weeks I work later shifts and need to leave for work around mid-morning. My husband generally works a standard daytime schedule (typically 6:00 AM–4:00 PM), though occasional early mornings, late evenings, or schedule changes do come up.

Because of this, childcare hours will vary from week to week. We can provide the upcoming week’s schedule in advance and will communicate any changes as early as possible. Some weeks may require more hours than others, and there may be occasional evening coverage needed.

For the summer, care would primarily be for our 5-year-old son. Our 10-year-old daughter spends the summer with her father, but when the school year begins she will be back home, and there may be opportunities for additional hours helping with school drop-off, pick-up, and after-school care for both children.

We also have two friendly dogs—a Great Dane and a Labrador—so applicants should be comfortable around large dogs.

We’re hoping to find someone dependable, patient, and flexible who is interested in a position that could continue into the school year as our family’s childcare needs evolve.
