We are a warm, respectful family in Reston seeking a dependable, experienced nanny for our 2-month-old son. We are looking for someone nurturing, safety-focused, and confident caring for young infants.
Schedule
• Three consistent weekdays, approximately 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Start date: as soon as possible / by [insert date]
• Dad is currently on parental leave and will be home initially; Mom works remotely for the next three weeks and will then be in the office three days per week.
• We can confirm the exact three days with the right candidate.
Responsibilities
• Attentive infant care: feeding, burping, diapering, soothing, safe naps, tummy time, and age-appropriate play.
• Follow our established feeding and sleep routine and keep a simple daily log of feeds, diapers, naps, and notable updates.
• Wash bottles and baby-related items; baby laundry and light tidying of baby areas.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of hands-on infant-care experience, preferably with babies under 6 months.
• Current infant CPR and first-aid certification.
• Excellent recent childcare references.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, and a non-smoking household/work practice.
• Comfortable completing a paid trial shift and appropriate background screening.
Compensation
• $25–$30/hour, based on infant experience, credentials, and fit.
• Guaranteed weekly hours and legal payroll.
