Brought to you by Family Concierge: Wonderful Black Diamond family looking for a night nanny/doula for their baby to be! The family will be welcoming their first child! Mom is due in the middle of Nov. but there is a possibility that she will be induced earlier. The family is looking for care for 2-3 nights per week once they are all home from the hospital. The family is looking for newborn childcare support & support/guidance for the parents.

Care includes monitoring the baby throughout the night by feeding the baby (bottle-feeding or bringing baby to parent for nursing), burping, diapering, soothing the baby back to sleep, as well as creating fun & engaging activities that aid in the enrichment & development of the child. The family is looking for a caregiver who will keep a log of feeding, sleeping, & diapering for the parents & light housekeeping support with washing/sterilizing bottles & pump parts, folding baby laundry, & tidying up the nursery or baby-related areas. Support for the parents includes assisting the birthing parent in recovery if needed (helping them move around, ensuring they're comfortable), breastfeeding/feeding support, emotional support, & helping educate the parents on newborn health, safety, developmental milestones, etc. if needed.

The ideal caregiver has experience with infant care with proper diapering, hygiene, sleep & soothing techniques, newborn health & safety, & knowledge of developmental milestones. The family is also looking for a caregiver that is CPR & First Aid certified & that is comfortable with dogs. They share their home with two very friendly dogs! The family is excited (a little nervous!) to welcome their baby & are looking for a compassionate & experienced doula to support during this transition. Creating a calm, supportive, & respectful environment is a top priority for them. The family is offering $45-50 per hour based on qualifications & experience.
