Brought to you by Family Concierge: This Redmond family is looking for a part-time nanny for their 2.5-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter. The family is seeking a start date of June 17th, and this will be a part-time role (24-30 hours per week). The exact schedule and start time are negotiable. Generally, care will be needed on Thursday evenings 5-8 pm, and alternating weekends for 3-4 hours per day.

These adorable kids will require typical childcare, including weeknight meal prep, and bedtime routines. Some light cleaning after dinner and post-bedtime would be super helpful! The ideal nanny will provide engaging activities to promote the children’s social and emotional development. During the weekends, the family would like the children to engage in fun activities, such as arts and crafts, going to the park, and building Legos. They will also need one meal or a snack prepared, as well as putting the little boy down for a nap.

The ideal caregiver will have previous childcare experience and a CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required. The family is new to the Redmond area and would love to build a long-term relationship with a caregiver. The children also enjoy using Play-Doh, riding bikes, and engaging in pretend play. These sweet cuddlebugs are generally well-behaved but do have the occasional tantrum when overtired. The ideal nanny will be observant of their sleep cues, as well as have patience, and be able to calm the kids as needed.
