Full-Time Nanny for Sweet & Active 10-Month-Old – Ballard

About Us:
We’re transplants from Boston and new to Seattle. Dad works from home full-time, and Mom has a hybrid schedule. We value clear communication, kindness, and a nurturing environment where our child can thrive.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some flexibility available for Summer Fridays)
Pay: $28–$35/hour, depending on experience
Benefits:2 weeks paid time off, paid holidays, and sick leave
Start Date: Beginning of June
Trial Period: 1–2 week paid trial to ensure a good mutual fit before signing a full-time contract and offering benefits

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a reliable, experienced caregiver who is:

* Confident and comfortable caring for infants — infant experience is a must
* Warm, honest, and a clear communicator
* Genuinely interested in getting to know and bonding with our baby
* Energetic, playful, and patient with a love for walks, reading, music, and sensory play
* Non-smoker and up-to-date on all vaccinations
* Comfortable around dogs (no pet care required)
* Able to provide excellent references
* **Bonus:** Experience as an au pair or in a multicultural household

Our baby is currently crawling, babbling, and starting to explore finger foods. They love books, music, and peek-a-boo — and we’re looking for someone who will meet them with joy and curiosity each day.

We live in a walkable neighborhood near parks and the library, and our home is well set up for play and rest. No driving is required for this role.
