Location: Woodinville, Washington (Cottage Lake area)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (2-5 pm)

About Our Family: We are a warm and welcoming family with two fun-loving girls, ages 9 and 12, and a friendly 35 lb dog. We’re looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children, likes to have fun and laugh, and can help keep our home running smoothly in the afternoons.

Responsibilities: Pick up children from the bus stop (5-minute walk or quick drive) or from school (5-minute drive). Provide attentive and engaging care for children after school. Come up with creative craft/art/learning ideas and share supply shopping lists with us ahead of time so we can stock the house with engaging/educational activities. Supervise with homework or playtime. The girls are very independent and responsible, so just need to check that they’re doing homework if they have any. Ensure the girls unpack their backpacks and lunch boxes each day. Prepare lunches for the next school day, including a fresh veggie and fresh fruit snack. Light housekeeping duties including: Tidying up common areas and kitchen, loading/unloading dishwasher, doing and folding laundry, placing them in bedrooms for us to put away. Occasionally prepare dinners. Comfortable around pets and willing to let the dog out if needed (just need to open the patio door, the dog stays in the yard and does not need to be monitored)

Requirements: Experience caring for children (nannying, babysitting, teaching, etc.) Experience with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record and reliable transportation. Ability to manage household tasks independently. Trustworthy, punctual, and communicative. Flexible schedule to add hours in the early evening is a huge bonus! CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $25-$35, based on experience. Mileage reimbursement if using personal vehicle for pickups.
