I am a reliable, trustworthy, fun, and kind individual who loves working with kids! After moving to Alaska in 2018 I was a nanny for 3 years with one family with 2 girls now ages 4 and 6. In 2019 my son was born and I brought him with me as well. They are like sisters to my son and we are still very close! After they both started school full time I started working at my current job at a daycare as a registered behavior technician working 1:1 in an inclusive classroom with kids on the autism spectrum. I love my job but unfortunately paying for daycare for my son while I work is too expensive and I'm looking for opportunities where I can work from home or take him with me. However I won't be available until August and will be flexibly available M-F from 9ish-4ish( preferably). I Read more am smoke, alcohol and drug free. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am willing to do light meal prep, light cleaning and transporting to/from school if needed, as well as field trips around anchorage (zoo, pool, trampoline park, library, parks,etc). My son and I love being outside and spend very little time indoors when the sun is shining! There will be no TV time except on special occasions. I love animals (we have 2 big dogs and chickens) and I truly enjoy working with kids! I am also open to offering services to multiple families in my home (no more than 2-3 extra kids depending on age) and provide a daycare style setting with structured learning/craft activities and schedule.
