My name is Kayla. I’m 32, and I’m a laidback, fun-loving, hands-on, funny and compassionate mama & sitter. I believe in teaching children that showing respect & manners are very important skills for kids to exude to any and everyone in their everyday life. However, I don’t believe in teaching those things by being overly strict. My 14 year old daughter & 8 year old son are respectful, kind, good-hearted, smart kids that are also very well behaved & getting them that far came easily without any conflict. I believe in letting children learn by experience, but I also believe in holding them accountable for their actions & I believe in age appropriate consequences when needed. I always want my kids to understand me fully, and why I say and why I expect what I expect from them. I’m their friend, but I’m their teacher when necessary. I believe in Read more being able to laugh at yourself and learn from your mistakes. I’m nurturing & loving & believe in lots of hugs and snuggles. Children are the most amazing gift & I take my role in their lives very important.
