Hi, my name is Mary Beth! I am a senior college student and will graduate in May with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. My aim is to be a Child Life Specialist and will hopefully start graduate school next spring to continue pursuing this goal! I have been babysitting and nannying since I first got my drivers license when I was 16! I am now 21 and can say I have worked with children of all ages! My experiences range from nannying one singular child to nannying 4 children at a time. I have taken care of multiple sets of twins and even two sets of twins at one time. Aside from nannying I have been an assistant preschool teacher for almost two years. This was an amazing experience because it helped me learn about feeding, toileting and other essentials when taking care of young children. In Read more Summer 2025 I was a camp counselor for children who had muscular dystrophy. This taught me a great amount of skills when working with children who have special needs. Currently, I am an intern for an organization that helps children and their families that are facing childhood cancer. I go to our children's hospital weekly and engage in activities with the oncology and hematology patients. I also am substitute teaching at local schools. This has helped me engage more with school-age children and has given me the ability to be able to help more with homework! Although I am not currently CPR certified this is something I plan to obtain in the next couple of months! I love being a sitter or nanny because fostering young minds is so important and I love being able to be a small impactful part of their lives! I take pride in being energetic and bringing joy to children's lives! I am excited to see what I can bring to other families in the future as well!
