I worked as a nanny for close to 2 years for a family with three little girls (ages 4, 5, and 9). Before that I worked as, primarily, a K3 preschool teacher at Bethlehem Baptist Child Development Center for a year in Dothan, AL, but worked with all age ranges of children (from the baby room to K4). I just graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham where I double majored in Secondary Education and English/Language Arts. After completing my degree, I decided that I would rather look for a job working with younger children in a more personal environment where I can form close relationships with the children as well as have an environment where I can work with kids to build their skills (education/communication/personal) on a more one-on-one basis. I am comfortable working with a wide range in age and working with more than one child at Read more a time. I currently live in Chattanooga, TN with my fiancé, who works as a Physician Assistant at a Pain Management Clinic, and our two Golden Retrievers (so I am very comfortable being around dogs or cats).
