Children have always been an interest for me as I love their whimsical nature and curiosity about the world. I was interested in and taught the very young before I had children of our own. Teaching gave me much joy and a satisfaction of making a contribution. In my early years I earned an Associates Degree in Childhood and Family Studies from Weber State University whereby I excelled as it was a natural interest for me. Later I became a Certified Montessori instructor and really took a fascination in that methodology, believing it has many advantages for the very young pre-kinder in its theories and education. I posses an extensive background and natural talent in creative art that I also long to share as well. Cognitive development, large and small motor skills and social communication are paramount to a well rounded child.
