My name is Quincey White. I am a recent graduate from The University of West Alabama with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have worked as a special needs counselor for the past 2 years at Easter Seals Camp ASCCA, working with children from 6 to adults at 50. I have dealt with individuals with Autism, Fragile X, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Muscular Dystrophy. I am trained in transfers in and out of wheelchairs, feeding, dressing, and toileting needs. I have been such a fan of the special needs field since working at this camp because it is such an eye-opening experience and the connections I have made with the kids and adults alike is like nothing I have ever had before.
