I have been a caregiver for 6yrs to an elderly patient who had dimentia I was a private sitter for her up until her passing about a month ago I sincerely love taking care of others I guess you can say it's the love I have in my heart for others well being, I love that I can give them hope,the love ,and the care they need. I'm a very hard worker.I have 4 kids of my own,all in school.I have only baby-sitter for my sister's and cousins etc... But have taken very good care of them all I see it as being the same with the elderly because at times they are like small children over again.I became a widow in 2010 when my husband,kid's father passed and my baby was 3mths at the time. I took care of him alone.medicine,dr.appointments,bathing,feeding,etc.. he passed with Colon cancer.
