Why would I be a good caregiver for your child? Well, I have raised two children of my own (16 yr old son & 18 year old daughter), I have an elementary education degree and 6 years experience teaching in OCS, I have homeschooled for 13 years (teaching at co-ops for several years during that time), I have experience tutoring, and I teach online. My experience in education may make you think I only want to work with school age children, but as a mid-40s momma (soon to be empty-nester) I sure do miss those sweet baby years! I am a non-smoker, am accustomed to pets ( I have 2 large outside dogs and 2 small dogs), and have reliable transportation. I asked my kids and best friend for words to describe me. Here is a sampling from each. My son (16) says funny. My daughter (18) says many things, Read more but adaptable and dynamic are two. My best friend says perceptive, ingenuitive, and servant. I feel humbled by their descriptions. What would I say of myself? My life is centered on my faith in God and my family. Anything worthwhile in me comes from these relationships.
