  I am a reliable, energetic, person who loves to work with infants and children. I have raised two children of my own. I have 5 years of working in Baldwin County School District as an After School Daycare teacher at Rockwell Elementary. During my 2 hours and 15 minutes of being with the children, i prepared their daily snacks, helped them with their homework and supervised them while they are outside  playing. I also taught pre-K to fifth graders to speak and write in spanish during the after school program.( i speak and write in English and Spanish)    My years prior to working for Baldwin County I was a Teacher's Assistant from 2003-2009 at Lawrence and Washington Township schools in Indiana. I helped bilingual children from grades 5th thru 8th to learn math and science at a 5:1 ratio. It made it easier for the students to learn Read more and understand the steps and procedures that was required in those courses.  I have worked with infants from six weeks to toddlers.I have fed, bathe, changed their diapers and soothe them until they calm down or fall asleep. I love to read to children, and i begin from infant to 5 years old to read to them. One book i love to read to children is called the "Little Engine that could" The reason I love to read this book is because i love to remind children that they can be or do anything, as long as they set their mind to it. I also love to do daily activity plans for example have the children do art activity based on the season of the year! I believe a child should be kept active.
