For so long I have been searching high and low for my very purpose in life. It has been more obvious as ever, now that I am becoming more self-aware, that tending to need of others has always been something that makes me truly happy. I have always been the type of person that thought, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life” was typically cliché, but if I can be completely transparent, it really has grown on me. I have worked with people of all walks of life, and even though they have all been delightful, I have enjoyed working with children most. Their energy, need for creativity, and imagination is what amazes me and makes me feel in tune with my own inner child. Therefore, I decided that I would finally step into my calling and find a career that would fit Read more me most. I never thought that nannying could be an actual career, but now that I understand what it entails, I know that it is something that perfectly lines up with my strengths and avocations. My qualifications include: -5 years of varied childcare experience -Volunteer child work within my community -Currently vaccinated and serious about social distancing -Willing to relocate -Ability to acclimate to different environments quickly -Have stable and reliable transportation with a clean driving record -Willing to stay committed to a long-term position -Effective communication skills with an understanding and respect for boundaries and expectations -Great with routines and schedules I am also a creative individual, who on a day off, loves to spend time expressing herself through any form of art possible- poetry, crafts, painting, singing, dancing, and journaling. I love using my creativity to not only inspire children, but to also enrich and nurture their adolescent minds. Being around kids, you just know there is never a dull moment- it doesn't matter what age. That is the beauty in nurturing and caring for children; being able to just live in the moment while giving all the love and passion you have to offer to them.
