I am a professional early childhood educator and a homeschooling single mother to two teenagers. We are pet lovers and enjoy road trips, museums, concerts, nature, and cooking. I have been in education for almost 30 years and I love it. Children's minds absorb knowledge. They can literally teach themselves by using their senses in the world around them. Each child has their own gifts, or intelligence, that can be activated based on opportunities they are exposed to.
