Hiya! I’m Chelsey. I am a birth and postpartum doula and a birth and bereavement photographer. My everyday work is serving as a postpartum doula for area moms by helping them care for their new babes. A little about that role: A postpartum doula really specializes in that crucial transition from pregnant person to new parent. This includes: guiding them through breastfeeding with knowledge, support, and advice; help with newborn care such as diaper changes, sleep, and feedings, as well as providing resources to related services like lactation counseling, sleep-training, birthing classes, and anything else a new parent might find themselves needing assistance with. I help families master early techniques in soothing and bonding with their new baby while also caring for baby so parents can also nap, shower, eat, run errands, or attend appointments.
