I was in my junior year of high school when I began to first start to babysit kids a lot. I at the time was watching my bosses kids throughout the week on days she worked all day. There was four of them at the time ages from newborn-8years old. I saw I had a passion for pouring into kids and learning to love them well. Shortly after that a mutual family friend reached out and asked if I would be her nanny for the summer. So I did that for two summers back to back. A lovely family they had 4 kids also. The ages were 6months-13 years old. Then after coming to college I started a job at a daycare and worked there for 8 months before another job opened up that payed more. I am about to be moving to Raleigh, North Carolina soon and want to Read more get back into pouring into kids. Its a honorable thing for a parent to trust someone with their child. So I do not take it lightly about being a nanny/babysitter. I am fully vaccinated. I am CPR certificated that I did in high school.

30 hours before starting a full time nanny position that she accepted weeks earlier, Lexie texted us to share that she would not be starting. Very disappointing. One would think someone seemingly so religious would be equipped with the values to navigate the situation reasonably. She did share that she had previously left a job fairly quickly to jump at a higher paying opportunity, and a reference shared her inexperience required clear direction...shame on us for not heeding the warnings.
