Hello! My name is Alyssia. I started babysitting within my family at the young age of 13 and my enjoyment for taking care of kids started from there. I started babysitting my oldest nephew, who is now 10 years-old, when he was a couple weeks old. I also watched him and his younger brothers once they were born. When I got older, I started babysitting on a more professional level, babysitting for families outside of my family. I started working at a local daycare when I was 20, and then worked full time at Kindercare. At this job, I was responsible for 10+ toddlers (1-2-year-olds), making sure their basic needs are met and planning weekly curriculum lessons. I am currently a nanny for a 5 year-old and a 3 year-old. We often do activities such as crafts, going to the zoo, park, indoor play, and museums. I do still babysit outside of working, and there I am in charge of the children I watch, making meals, changing diapers, and light cleaning. I will be graduating with my associates degree in early childhood education in May. I am First Aid and CPR Certified, and COVID-19 Vaccinated. I have my own reliable transportation. I will be moving to the area in Mid-September, but I am planning a trip down in July if you would like to meet in person first.
