Hello, my name is Jamie! I am a stay-at-home mom with past experiences of working as an elementary teacher and daycare teacher. Since I am a stay-at-home mom, I am very flexible with times I am available. I prefer to babysit from my home or at a home that is close to my home. I plan lots of educational activities for children. We read books, sing nursery rhymes, color, play play-doh, put puzzles together, and do crafts. Depending on the age, we work on counting, ABCs, letter sounds, shapes, patterns, etc. I can help with homework if you have an older child. I do not have an intervention degree, but I have had some training in interventions, and taught some intervention classes when I taught in public school. We go outside in my fenced backyard each day when possible. We have a playhouse and some other toys. I potty-train if your child is over 18 months and you, the parent, think they are ready. We also have time for free play. We have lots of toys. If you have an infant, I will let the parents decide on a feeding and nap schedule. I will hold your infant. I give all children in my care lots of attention.
