Hi! I'm Jamie and I am a mother to two boys, ages 16 and 25. During my children's younger years I worked as a pre school teacher at La Petite Academy for almost 7 years. I then did daycare from my home for about 3 years while the boys were still young. I felt that it permitted me more time to spend on being the type of mom that I wanted to be and also my oldest has Asperger syndrome and needed more attention. Although I really enjoyed working with children, it became necessary for me to find an outside means of income, which I continued to do until this past May. I spent time working in the adult mental health field as a case manager for 8 years then was a HUD housing low income apartment manager for the past 7 years. I took time to travel to Jamaica Read more and Hawaii with my family in the past year and much time at home due to the pandemic. But now I would like to find something that makes me feel happy and that is working with children. My husband and I own a home in Anthem, and of course being a mother and wife, I understand what it takes to keep your home running smoothly and your children cared for and safe while you work. I am interested in finding a flexible, fun loving family that I can assist.
