Hi my name is Jennifer Drake and I have been working with children for three years now in the position of a preschool lead teacher. My experience is with newborn to school age children. Jennifer was our nanny for a little over a year before she quit via text without providing us even a days notice. We made several attempts to outreach her for updates with no response. We treated her like family and expected more than we ultimately received. We should have saw the red flags after previously being told that she had to move out of state but then used us as a reference for a nearby nanny position that she applied for. If she didn’t like her job she had every right to quit but we expected more reliability and professionalism from someone who had been in our home daily.
