I was an RN for 15 years, started in moms/babies, moved into pediatrics, then psych and ended my career in hospice care last year when my life had some trauma/stress and i lost my passion for nursing in our current world. I have babysat since I was 10, did nannying for mostly babies and young children as a young adult, volunteered and worked with youth shelters as an adult. I also have a degree in nursing, psychology and CPR trained. I am very early pregnant with my First child and looking for a job that I can make some money while being mindfully present and helping to nurture/protect someone else’s child. To me taking care of a child is much more than keeping them physically safe, fed and clean. I think it’s important to nurture their spirit, self esteem, and joy while teaching them healthy boundaries with age appropriate expected Read more consequences.
