Hello! My name is Madison and I am 22 years old. I am located in the Gilbert/Chandler area. I currently am a senior in college and look forward to graduating this upcoming spring with my bachelors in communications, minor in English. I currently also work a full-time job for an Investment Management Firm but have been looking for a sweet family to start nannying for as I know my future lies working with children! I have gained many years of experience working with children. Church camps, summer camps, jobs, and assisting with younger children in my family. Prior to my current job, I worked as a behavior technician for Autism Spectrum Therapies. There, I used individualized therapy to work 1 on 1 with autistic children (in-clinic or at-home sessions) to help improve and coach important social and life skills. I also spent a great amount of time working for Tempe Read more Montessori School in Mesa. I spent much of my time working with infants in the classroom (3-12 mo). Feeding, napping, snack time, and playtime. Along with light cleaning, sanitation, laundry, and snack prepping. When I wasn’t in the infant classroom, I was caring for young children out on the playground while they waited to be picked up. This meant paying close attention, addressing inappropriate actions/behaviors, caring for small playground injuries, and also ensuring the toddlers used the restroom/cleaning up after incidents. (still in potty-training stages) I absolutely loved working these two jobs but unfortunately, it became too much to handle with school. I would love to continue and grow my experience by babysitting or ideally, becoming a full time nanny! I have always loved working with children and hope to someday go into teaching or back into behavioral therapy/speech pathology. I currently hold a valid safety care certification along with an adult and pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Please feel free to message me with any questions :-)
